The V-6 Digital Portfolio attempts to investigate the viability of digital and autographic methods combined to produce a limited edition, print-based portfolio of art. The central aim of the project is to create a gradation of experience from traditional methods of image making, in this case, collage techniques, through to digital print-based output. A second aim is to investigate the feasibility and the appropriateness of using “high end” digital reproduction technology in the creation of works of art in limited numbers to market broadly at low cost. . The V-6 Portfolio is a limited edition of 30 copies +proofs. The portfolio cover is printed with the V-6 logo and contains the 5-print set. The printing paper is Hahnemuhler, Albrect Durer, 160 gm. special preparation. The portfolio is printed on our Epson 2100 seven colour printer. There is a numbered cover-sheet included in the portfolio, briefly describing the project along with the brochure containing more detail about the artists involved. Each print will be signed and numbered by the artist. | ||
